Not only a craving...

Don't write much about the pregnancy...cause I'm usually focused on Liliana. But, I thought I'd share that I not only crave pickles..but my baby is the size of a pickle this week! How bizarre! It's almost half a pound and about 5 1/2 inches long. While I have to say that adoption was an incredible experience, I don't know that I've ever pondered creation as much as I do these days. What an incredible miracle by God....

I'm sorry I haven't posted "belly pics"...I just can't bring myself to do it until I actually LOOK pregnant..instead of looking like I have a pretty bad beer belly! I'm getting there...but still...

We have our "Gender" ultrasound scheduled for March 12th! I can't believe I get to find out what it is so soon! We don't care whether the baby is a boy or girl...but I have to say I will be so glad to stop calling the poor thing "it"!

Any guesses on the gender?!?!? You must also give rationale. Info for those "Old Wives Tales"...I haven't had morning sickness bad, the heartbeat at 12 weeks was 180 and at 16 weeks it was 150. I look forward to your guesses!

Low heart rates usually lean toward boys, so my guess is BOY! Levi's heart rate was always around 150.

I'm gonna say boy simply because Liliana is the only girl born to anyone that I know in... well, I don't even remember how long it's been.

I know how you feel! We get to find out on March 19th. I agree that I will be happy to be able to stop calling our baby "it." :) I hope everything is still going well for you!

girl.girl.girl.
and i understand the whole "creation" thing. being adopted this whole pregnancy was so spiritual to me in a sense. and when i had mary margaret and got to look into eyes that were shaped like mine and hands that looked just like mine..well, it was so surreal. i've never met anyone who looks like me or has a genetic link to me. to think half of her is from me is just unbelievable. i finally get why they call it "the miracle of life", you know?
